I have been involved in the counselling profession for over 15 years. My counselling experience has been in the charitable sector, a GP practice and private practice over this time.
I have previously worked in the Corporate sector, which gives me an understanding of the different challenges working in this environment can pose.
My early years were spent in the West coast of Ireland, I have been living and working in London for over 25 years.
I enjoy working with people of all ages (18+) and gender. Working through my own life experiences has been invaluable in helping to understand where others might be coming from, personally as well as professional.
I am currently in private practice in locations in N16 and N1.
My training was in Integrative Psychosynthesis at Re-Vision London, a humanistic based approach.
I became an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2010.
(To be accredited means having completed a rigorous application process which is assessed for evidence of training, advanced ethical practice and supervision).
My approach/training is integrative, which means I draw on different approaches including relational, psychodynamic, psychosynthesis, gestalt and Jungian.
